You will find more on psychological services for business here – but do feel free to give me a call to discuss your issue. 510-843-9207. The first half hour is free. I’d love to lend my thoughts and ideas, whether or not we move forward to work together.
Unlike most psychologists, my career has taken me into the business world. In fact, I STARTED out as a research psychologist at Chevron Corporation, after completing my Ph.D. in Psychology-Personality Research. Although located in Public Affairs, my boss and I were in charge of research throughout the corporation: from marketing and advertising to product testing to public opinion.
It was a difficult decision to leave Chevron, especially for the arduous years of clinical supervision, licensing exams, and the decade of practice it takes to become truly skilled as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. But I did, and am happily getting back to business with a unique skill set to offer.
Note that I am not an Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychologist nor do I have an M.B.A. Rather, I’m a hybrid with expertise in Marketing & Public Affairs and CLINICAL-PERSONALITY psychology. This diverse background allow me to make SPECIAL contributions and/or to help companies develop what I call….BUSINESS WITH A PSYCHOLOGICAL EDGE.
For more on my background, here’s my resume.
And, here’s a summary chart of the problems I can solve and with what methods…
For more than a quarter of a century in business, research & clinical practice, I’ve been assembling psychological toolboxes. The tools inside are not used to fix others; rather they let me work to the best of my ability, to assist in custom designing new tools for each client. That is, my ultimate goal is to help each company or organization best help themselves.

- motivation to find quick, practical solutions
- ability to generate possibilities then help select what WORKS best
